Parts
I have a fully rebuilt 2.6 litre engine for sale. It came from a very low mileage series one from 1977 - with just 11,000 covered.
It has been fully balanced (crank/pistons/flywheel/clutch) and fitted with a new cylinder head gas flowed and ported to stage two. The work was carried out by Oselli Engineering in Oxford. The engine was professionally rebuilt by P.D. Autocraft in Rowley Regis (the black country in the midlands) and Paul, who built the engine worked on SD1's when they were new. I can also supply more details is required.

I Auto Gear Box, The gearbox was over hauled in 1992 and it’s not been used since. £10
I have a spare 3.5 fan for EFI or Carb for an 82 onwards viscous coupling.
I have a good few of bumpers and the front skirt with the under belly.

Other/Wanted
Most 23/2600 will have heard of or fitted
the ROSDI unit, this is the device that monitored the oil supply to the
camshaft and warned of impending doom? There was also a version that cut
in and supplied an emergency oil supply from the sump. These are now no
longer available as the company no longer exists. If anyone has experience
with this device good or bad I would like to know via email. Also If anyone
out there is
interested in fitting a similar device again let me know, if there are
enough of these cars out there? And the demand is sufficient? They may

Does anyone have a solution to replacing the 23/2600 timing belt tensioner,
these are now no longer available from Rimmer stock and so far I have
not been able to source one from elsewhere? There is a similar one used
by ford but is not a direct replacement.
